Not only does the NMC-1600 let you connect up to 16 separate cameras and view any one of them or all of them simultaneously from one monitor, but with both independent main and call monitor outputs you can watch up to all 16 cameras and view one camera feed full-screen at the same time. NTSC and PAL compatible, the Mace NMC-1600 utilizes BNC (Bayonet Neill-Concelman) connectors for its 16 camera inputs, 16-channel camera loop-back, main and call monitor outputs (one each), and VCR input and output (one each). This unit also includes an S-video connection for one VCR input and one VCR output, and achieves a maximum resolution of 30 fps (frames-per-second) with 512 by 512 effective pixels. Through its on-screen display and real-time clock function, the NMC-1600 provides you with the date and time, a 2x digital zoom, picture freeze, and programmable dwell times from one to 10-seconds. Also featuring a key lock for security purposes, this multiplexer includes a 50-event alarm history log, a VCR-trigger output, and the ability to use a remote control via built-in RS232 or RS485 support. The NMC-1600's built-in motion detection has 256 levels of sensitivity and allows 15 x 12 targets per camera.
