The SD series surge protectors effectively safeguard PoE switches, PoE PDs, and other IP devices from lightning and many types of electrical interference, including power surges and spikes sent through networking cables. Two sub-models, the SD-101 and SD-201, are designated as hardened-grade surge protectors and are capable of functioning in extreme weather conditions ranging from -40°C to 85°C (-40 degrees to 185 degrees Fahrenheit). The SD-101 is designed to be deployed besides PoE switches, or inside junction or power boxes. With a robust operating temperature range, the SD-101 will prevent surges of up to 10KA and features plug-and-play installation.
